Reggae Life Festival

Jah Law Promotions, founded by Salifu Ablie Jallow alias Sal, Saladin Jallow, and Salahudeen Abdoullah in September 2010 in The Gambia, is a dynamic force in music promotion and development, with a core mission to celebrate the diverse tapestry of African arts and cultures. In its early years, Jah Law spearheaded the “On D Road” tour with Ndabli Productions, amplifying the voices of underground artists within The Gambia. This grassroots initiative laid the foundation for global recognition, as we became one of the host promoters for the Back To Africa Movement tour in Gambia and the Distant Relatives tour in Senegal and worked with international luminaries like Don Green, Cofounder of Reggae Sunsplash in Jamaica, and Tina Jones, CEO of MBE Consulting and JOTD Productions in the USA.

The official inception in 2015 marked a turning point, leading to national registration and international recommendation for Jah Law Promotions. Before this, we played a pivotal role in national events like the 2014 edition of the International ROOTS Festival held in Gambia featuring Dr. Dean & Vortex Band (UK), Muta Baruka (Jamaica), the late Dr. Runoko Rashidi (USA), and other renowned international artists and orators.
